what are the five basic physical fitness test?

the fitness test is series of tests that assess the five components of physical fitness that make up total fitness: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and anaerobic power.

the test journey

once you book a test you will be directed to a page with a health questionnaire. please fill it in and submit. on arrival you will be met by one of our staff who will talk you through the test protocols. within 24 hours of completing the test you will receive your results in form of a report alongside a certificate if you pass.

in addition you can opt in for a complimentary phone consultation by one of our fitness professionals where you can discuss your results further.

what is anaerobic power test?

purpose: to test your anaerobic capacity and power output in conjunction to the chosen level. we test your ability to produce high intensity efforts for short durations of time.

what is lower body muscle endurance?

purpose: to asses your lower body muscular endurance as well as strength in quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes and core muscles in conjunction to the chosen level.

purpose: this test measures your explosive strength and coordination.

what is cardiovascular fitness & overall work capacity?

purpose: these tests provide information about your ability to efficiently use oxygen during prolonged exercise, which is an important indicator of cardiovascular health and overall fitness.

what is upper body muscle endurance?

purpose: to asses your upper body muscular endurance as well as strength in arms and shoulders as well as stability.

the diagnosis: what is a fitness diagnosis?

our fitness diagnosis refers to the process of evaluating an individual's current fitness level, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and determining areas for improvement.

we analyse the collected data from the assessments and provide the individual with feedback on their current fitness level, strengths, weaknesses, and areas that require attention. this feedback may include specific recommendations for exercise programming, training modifications, and lifestyle changes to address identified areas of improvement.
